Here's my take on it: MONEY WILL TALK
The Wii device will work because it's CHEAP. It can be bundled with a game. They can quickly flood the market. It's already available.
PS3 device MAY work, because it's relatively cheap. Many people already have the Eye. You can buy only one controller to start with, and eventually buy more. People paid $500 for their cons...

Personnaly, I don't look at sales when I buy a game. I'll take any new or old IP and I don't care as long as the game is good enough, and I can find some people in multiplayers games.
I can currently see 3 clocks when I play on my PS3. PVR, VCR (not even sure if this thing still work, but hey, it does give me the time!) and even if it's very small, thanks to Lite-0n, on my DVR as well... I would bet most people can at least see one, with the average seeing 2. I guess you never have enough clocks so that's why some people think it's newsworthy!

Well, based on his comments, Microsoft has been using pretty much the same Windows interface for almost 20 years!!! I'm really wondering what's wrong with using an interface that everybody is used to...

Why today's PC video cards are selling with resolution 2560x1600 and more then???? Why do most monitors today come in 1920X1080 or 1920X1200 native resolution? Instead of buying a very expensive GTX 295, why not buying a $35 card capable of doing 1280 X 720 for your PC and save $300 to $500. Simply because you're sitting only 18 inchs away from your monitor. With HDTVs, it's the same thing. If you bought a 32" HDTV, then you should be sitting less than 6 feet away from it! Almost nob...

Funilly enough: "pupils also have to do internet research and blog about their experiences.". yet they cannot do it from the game console itself since it's the only console that doesn't have a web browser! Ouch.
For me, if I want racing in 1080p at 60fps, it's still WipeOut HD... Love the 5.1 soundtrack too. Sure it's not shinny typical cars, but, wow, does it make my HDTV look good.
Forget Gears of War, Uncharted, Resistance, etc.

Just kidding! As other have said, there's nothing wrong with new IPs. So what if they have a hard time selling 1 million copy in the U.S. during a recession. All I care about is: YES, I can afford all those new awesome IPs (and some of the old ones).
Does that means we should start a petition against PC game install too? I seriously think we should. My PC has a 40 gig hard drive and I had to uninstall sooooo many games, it's not even funny anymore.
So go let's go people, and vote YES, I WANT TO BAN PC INSTALLS.
P.S.: I'm just joking, I have a PC with 1.25Terabyte of storage : ) (Soon to be full too, but I have plenty of free sata plugs available) But a more serious note, why didn't anybody complained against ...
I own 2 PS3s (I have two HDTV)... I ran out of room on my original 60 gig too often, so for my second one, I bought a 500gig drive ($70) on Ebay right away (before I even turn it on!), and since I didn't want to waste the drive that came with it, I also bought an external aluminium case for $4.79 on Ebay as well ($0.99 plus shipping) from H.K. Best thing I ever did.
So, for $75, I now have a 500gig PS3, and a nice external hard drive! That's not much more than the price of ...
This is a freakin stock analyst, and he comes with: "We are in MID cycle"... Wow, for sure I would not buy stock from this guy! PS3 and Wii are just slightly more than 2 years old! This is not MID cycle for sure. PS3 sold 20 millions consoles in 2 years. This is quite respectable sales!. I would truly like to smoke the same stuff this guy is! We also know the "spokeperson" doesn't know anything about programming because he would have said "the PS3 and the 360 have the same amount of memory, but the memory handling on the 360 is better for extra textures and we didn't want to tweak our engine for the PS3. It was easier to drop textures"

I'm not too crazy about Gametrailer myself, but those actual game in motion (hd) and as other have said, differences are absolutely meaningless. They have to stop the game, and zoom in to spot those small differences, not something anybody would see while playing. No wonder that all the review didn't say anything about them being "different". And yes, also agree that Xbox is dark, and PS3 is lighter, but nothing you can't adjust to your liking on your tv set.
They cannot just bundle Natal... Actual suggested price is around $200 but it could be much higher. Remember, two camera, microphone, infrared sensor, heavy processor, etc, etc. (Currently, all demos had a FULL PC running the code for it!) This is not something you can just bundle up with a game, and if you bundle up with a Xbox, it's something that will raise the price of the bundle so high that casual gamers won't go for it. Could double the price of the Arcade console easily!
